  18. You forget that both drives are made by the same company. The Jazz drive 
  19. will never be as cheap as the Zip drive. Sure the per-byte cost is about 
  20. equal but the actual cost of the drive is higher. An Amiga shipped with a 
  21. Jazz would be way out of the price range of most computer buyers.

  23. If they were to drop the price of the Jazz drive to where the Zip is now, 
  24. they would drop the price of the Zip to the price of a floppy drive which 
  25. would make it more attractive to buyers.
